Q: Would you support a political party (in the UK or similar) that acknowledged overpopulation as a problem, suggested an optimum population size and sought to introduce measures that may help achieve that (such as restricting family allowance to the first two children)? If not, why not?

Within the UK, from a libertarian perspective I'd be very much opposed to the Government involving itself further in family life - and therefore in how families should be structured. However I believe the nub of this lies in whether one considers the UK to be over-populated. I don't and therefore can't see Government interfering. China presents another situation however...
