AutoCorrect was introduced in 1993

รู้หรือไม่? ตัวช่วยสะกดคำอัตโนมัติถูกนำมาใช้ในปี 2536

The first version of Microsoft Word to include AutoCorrect was Word 6, introduced in 1993. This version automatically corrected common spelling errors and typos, such as accidentally capitalizing two letters in a row or not capitalizing the first word of a sentence. As Microsoft developed later versions of Word, AutoCorrect improved. Beginning with Word 95, users could set exceptions to AutoCorrect; for example, preventing automatic capitalization after common abbreviations, such as "corp." or "co."
